Prepreg Resin

Prepreg resin is the core matrix material for composite materials formed by combining fiber materials such as carbon fiber and glass fiber with a resin matrix to make prepregs. Its main function is to bond fibers into an integral whole through impregnation and curing, while endowing prepregs with molding processability and the mechanical properties (such as strength and temperature resistance) of the final composite components. It is a key component that determines the quality and application scenarios of prepregs. Regarding the sealant you mentioned, although both serve composite materials, their functions are different — prepreg resin is a "structural matrix", while sealant is a "surface auxiliary protective material", and they need to be used in combination as needed.
